We need an exceptional and passionate Front Desk Manager to join our team

YOU​ ​WILL

â–  Report to the Property Manager

â–  Be assigned to a hostel, and responsible to managing it's front desk, but you may cross over to other outlets temporarily or permanently depending on your skills, ambitions and business requirements.

â–  Be part of a great team across all front line departments that get our hostels and want to be themselves.

â–  Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique experience.

â–  Know your guests and have a passion for independent travel and the road less travelled.

â–  Enjoy peeling back the layers of a new city

â–  Know and love ethnic traditions, foods with the courage to offer up something a little different

â–  OWN GUEST COMPLAINTS AND RESOLVE THEM YOURSELF. YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEMS, YOU CREATE THE SOLUTIONS

â–  Know your city, its cafés, bars and restaurants, it's art, it's music.

â–  At all times ensure that our social spaces embody the Soles on Wheels brand and culture

â–  Ensure you comply with all company policies you have been trained on.

â–  Be Responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty

â–  Master a point of sale system or a property management system

 

YOU​ ​HAVE

â–  Experience working within the hospitality/service industry

â–  A passion for your city, for travelling and for trending food and drinks concepts

â–  Knowledge of what’s on in the city you apply to; art, music, culture, whatever.

â–  Have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for service.

â–  Knowledge of social media and user-generated reviews, with respect for their importance in marketing the hostel.

SALARY: 12-15k per Month + (Food & Accomodation)
